Tomato Cage Witch
I like to use tomato cages not just for the plants, but also for a base to create witches for my outdoor Halloween display.

Here are the steps I follow to create the tomato cage witch:

▪️ Place the tomato cage where you would like to work on the project
▪️ Gather the pointed ends together, having them overlap
▪️ Attach the wire together with zip ties, a few inches from the top - I use 2-3 for extra security

▪️CAREFULLY carve a hole in the bottom of a plastic pumpkin pail (mine is from Walmart) - I use a box cutter to cut the plastic
▪️The hole should be a bit smaller than the circle inside of the bottom of the pail

▪️Place the pumpkin on top of the tomato cage. You may need to gently squeeze the wire together to fit through the pumpkin

▪️This is what it should look like

▪️Unfold and drape a plastic table cover over the tomato cage & pumpkin - I got a 3 pack from Walmart because I make more than one witch

▪️Gather the tablecloth at the "neck" underneath the pumpkin, then tie it with string* or another zip tie

▪️Add a witch hat. I got mine in a pack from Amazon*
▪️I used hot glue to attach the hat, but you want to be careful in case any glue drips or burns through the plastic

▪️I like to tie ribbon around the neck for an extra accent, but you don't have to follow this step

▪️Put the witch where you would like to display it. I use rocks to help weigh down the tomato cage, but you can use a stake or anything that keeps it from falling over

▪️I also pull the overflowing part of the tablecloth to the back and tie the ends together to keep it from blowing around in the wind
Optional: Make a small cut on the sides of the tablecloth, tie the end in a knot to create arms. You can also make multiple witches with arms and tie them together to look like they are holding hands
